We are pleased to announce that The 1st International Electronic Conference on Animals—Global Sustainability and Animals: Science, Ethics and Policy (IECA-2020), chaired by Professor Clive J. C. We expect to cover the following sessions:
- Climate change and effects on the sustainability of animal systems;
- Sustainability of animal use and demand for animal products;
- Sustainable animal welfare, ethics, policies, and politics;
- Sustainable animal health;
- Sustainable animal feeding.
We proudly invite the global community of scholars to join IECA-2020 to present their latest animal research and development and share novel ideas on the multidisciplinary aspects of research on sustainable animal production. Thanks to the flexibility of our innovative electronic platform, you are welcome both to upload and present your work and to attend the conference completely free of charge. There will also be a possibility to submit selected papers to the e-conference related Special Issue of the journal Animals (ISSN 2076-2615; Impact Factor: 2.323 (2019)), with a 20% discount on the APC.
IECA-2020 offers you the opportunity to participate in an international scholarly conference without the concerns and expense of traveling—all you need is access to the Internet. During the conference period, you will be able to upload papers, posters, presentations (including videos), and comment on other presentations, and otherwise engage with fellow scholars in real-time. In this way, the conference offers a novel opportunity to exchange opinions and views within the scholarly community and to discuss the papers and latest research in a discussion forum.
Abstracts (in English) should be submitted by 20 November, 2020 online at https://ieca2020.sciforum.net/. For accepted abstracts, the full paper can be submitted by 30 November, 2020. The conference itself will be held on 5–20 December 2020.

Uczelniana Komisja Wyborcza podaje do wiadomości, że Senat Akademicki na posiedzeniu w dniu 26 października 2020 roku przyjął uchwałę w sprawie określenia terminarza wyborów do Rady Uczelni i Rad Dyscyplin. Formularze zgłoszeń Kandydatów w wyborach do Rady Uczelni znajdują się w zakładce „WYBORY”. UKW przypomina, że zgodnie ze Statutem Uczelni Załącznik Nr 4 „Ordynacja wyborcza”: „Kandydatów na członków Rady Uczelni ma prawo zgłosić Rektor lub co najmniej 10 członków Senatu. Każdy członek Senatu ma prawo udzielić poparcia tylko jednej kandydaturze osoby ze wspólnoty Uczelni i tylko jednej kandydaturze osoby spoza wspólnoty Uczelni”. Formularze zgłoszeń Kandydatów w wyborach do Rad Dyscyplin zostaną udostępnione niezwłocznie po przyjęciu przez Senat zmian w Statucie Uczelni.
