ISAE regional meeting attendance awards
The ISAE offers attendance awards for farm animal behaviour and welfare scientists and others wishing to attend the joint East and West Central Europe ISAE Regional Meeting in in Warsaw, preferably from, but not limited to, the countries of the Eastern Europe region. The total amount is US$ 7,500 and will be allocated to cover costs of attendance, i.e. full or partial sum equivalent to the cost of the registration, accommodation, reasonable travel expenses, and subsistence.

Applications for funding will be reviewed and will be prioritized on the basis of financial need (applications of students especially welcome). Applications should be submitted by May 25th 2018 and successful applicants will be notified by May 30th 2018.

The application must contain all of the following information:

  1. Name of applicant
  2. Postal address and email address (or fax number)
  3. Your occupation or position, e.g. student, active researcher, government employee, official veterinarian, etc. and affiliation.
  4. A brief justification for why the award should be received, including what you hope to gain from attending the meeting.
  5. A budget for attending the meeting, including the total cost of attendance (registration, accommodation, travel, visa fees and subsistence)

The application information requested above should not be more than 2 pages and it should be accompanied by a brief CV.

 

If you wish to submit an abstract for consideration as a poster presentation, you may still do so, by following the guidelines for abstract submission on the website and sending the abstract together with the application.

Call for abstracts

The Organizing Committee welcomes submission of original contributions for oral and poster presentations at the Joint West and East Regional ISAE Meeting.

The abstracts will be reviewed by International Scientific Committee.

Please carefully follow the instructions below:

  • Abstracts should be submitted in English only
  • The title must be underlined, typed in capital letters
  • The author’s surname must be in capital letters, followed by first name
  • The name of presenting author must be followed by an asterix
  • Give the department, institution, city and country, but not street names etc.
  • Please give the e-mail of presenting author
  • The abstracts must be laid out in terms of Introduction – Materials and Method – Results – Conclusions – Key words
  • Use Times New Roman typeface point 11,
  • Maximum length of the abstracts (excluding the title, authors’ names and affiliation) should be 450 words and five key words.

Please submit the abstracts until 30/03/2018 in a form of attachment to isae2018warsaw@ighz.pl
