Instytut Nauk o Środowisku UJ, Instytut Badań Ssaków PAN w Białowieży oraz Towarzystwo Naukowe /Martes/ Working Group zaprasza do wzięcia udziału w VI edycji międzynarodowej konferencji naukowej International /Martes/ Symposium, w dniach 21-24 lipca 2014 r. w Instytucie Nauk o Środowisku UJ w Krakowie.

We invite you to submit abstracts for the forthcoming /Martes/ Symposium in Poland in July 2014. The theme of the symposium embraces the similarities and differences between species of /Martes//, //Pekania,//Gulo, /and/Eira/ genera of different continents, their adaptations related to climate and habitat and associated conservation issues.We welcome either original contributions or comprehensive reviews. The social events and congress tours will provide opportunities to network with colleagues from around the world in a pleasant environment. We also hope you will enjoy Poland, especially the many sights in and around the beautiful city of Krakow. We encourage our fellow researchers from all over the world to contribute to a successful meeting. Please feel welcome to join us whether you are involved in /Martes//, //Pekania,//Gulo, and Eira/ research and management or with other species that do interact with them. We expect that colleagues from all parts of the world will

participate in this event.

The /Martes/ Working Group and the conference organizers are offering 3 scholarships for PhD students to participate in the 6th /Martes/ International Symposium 2014. For more information go to this link:
