Area of interest, scope of investigation
- Mineral nutrition of farm animals, including the studies on the effect of bioelements (i.a. chromium and iodine) on production results in animal management and on the quality of animal-origin products.
- The studies on contamination of feeds and animal-origin products by toxic elements (mainly mercury)

- Development of the principles of utilization of maize and wheat DDGS (distillers dried grains with soluble, a waste product of bioethanol production) in nutrition of animals and their effect on suitability and quality of the manufactured products (participant – performer of the project)
- Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA n-3), added to the diets for broiler chicken as a factor, stimulating sequestration of iodine (I) in the tissues (leader of the project)
